jack frost: the newest of the guardians, saves a green-eyed cat and a college student stuck in a tree. this student-prodigy, hiccup haddock, returns the favour and saves jack in more ways than one
OR
a loosely adapted parody of spiderman bnd (iv) for hicfrost purposes, jack is a hero, hiccup is a student prodigy, they meet and save each other, alright? alright
brought about by the increasing amount of stress, here's to my eventual tribute to the ship slugging around in my head and first ever fanfic that's nearly ten years overdue but my writing skills (somewhat) made it

an essay for admissions to my dream university but really its a love letter to my beloved sport and the only thing i'm granted complete control of
if i'm being honest that 750 word count kept me from wholly describing my very first love, doubled down by the fact i haven't had experience talking about myself or running, i still hope my words do it justice even if i still think its impossible to relay in just that
god i hope they accept me, either by recruitment or by my passing of the exam, wish me well folks!- Language:

enjoy (?) another one of my semi-decent essay submissions, its primarily a criticism on how algorithms n short form content really made indifference more blatantly obvious when dealing w crises and a bit of identifying behaviours (learned helplessness n the bystander effect)

Summary
this was a pain to write. i submitted this for a writing competition, i dont believe it to be podium material but im proud that i managed to see it through even when i slowly came to hate it. don't get me wrong i love existentialist philosophy however writing from february all the way to may felt like a maddening process. i didn't stop out of fear of losing the "flow" but i was at the literal edge of burnout. moral of the story is to actually follow the schedule i set for myself and use the pomodoro method, it fits with my constant need for racing. hope you enjoy my writing!!

relationship of an artist, the muse, the audience, and the art
been simmering on the failure that persevering can be with art so i've made a story with characters taking up these positions, really liked a bit of the irony that the three (artist, muse, audience) claim to understand one another the best, then the art that they subject their ideals onto while romanticising/ignoring one another, so i do hope its worth the read
