It has evolved from there, and while it no longer fits the prompt, it's about a relationship full of awkward and shouting and people doing a runner, and how it becomes something different.

There’s maybe half an hour left when Wilson knocks on the door of 221B. She waits patiently; an asymmetrical rhythm of footsteps sounds from inside, and the door swings open to reveal House, roughly two-thirds of the way to formal. She’s half in and half out of her jacket, her belt isn’t buckled all the way, and the collar of her dress shirt is popped, probably to facilitate the tying of the bow tie that hangs undone around her neck.
“You’re early,” House says flatly, and then turns on her heel and walks off.
(Wilson and House get dressed up. They’re extremely normal about it.)
