Then just as soon as the pleasure had begun to coil tight in Frank’s stomach, that his hips lost the slow and dirty grind that Michael had set, Michael suddenly pulled away. He pulled back with enough force that Frank was helpless but to topple over into the space vacated by him as he launched himself out of bed and into the corner of the room.
“We shouldn’t have done that,” Michael said, voice raspy, his erection still clearly tenting his pajama pants, his hands on his hips, looking like he was trying to switch back into Robby mode. But Frank was afraid that if he did, if this was the moment where they built an uncrossable gulf between each other he could not survive it. He would never recover.

Standing in the courtyard wearing a Livestrong bracelet, a touchably soft pale blue sweater, laughing, pointing out some tattoo he had gotten recently on his arm was Him.
Instantly spellbound by Felix, Oliver makes it his mission to get to know him, to manipulate fate to be his friend, unaware that Felix may have secrets have his own.

“Captain,” Manny corrects, freezing Bode in his tracks, before clearing his throat. “You sound a little hoarse. Get yourself checked out before we head back to camp,” Manny says, stepping out of reach, the openness in his eyes shutting off.

Bode and Manny meet in the woods to discuss the bridge and everything they've been leaving unspoken between them.
Manny nods and wipes at his face. “You see I got to hug my daughter and tell her how much I love her. I got to hold her and check on her after all of this. I got to know she was going to sleep safe at night in a warm bed knowing how loved she is. Everything spoken.”
Bode freezes, but Manny barrels on, grasping at the arm Bode extended to him like a lifeline.
“But in the moments before she jumped in after you and even while we were looking for both of you out there in the dark I kept thinking to myself about everything we haven’t said.”
“Cap,” Bode says.
“No. Not here. Not right now. Not after all of this. Please, Bode,” Manny says, stepping into Bode’s space.

He is stuck in a limbo of isolation and ghostly companions.

“Hiya,” the bloke said, leaning down to yell into Oliver’s ear.
“Hey,” Oliver shouted back, trying to be heard over the music.
“What ‘cha drinking?” the guy asked, voice a rich baritone.
“Anything strong will do,” Oliver replied with an insincere smile. The surface resemblances to Felix were striking, from the height to the way this guy carried himself. But the hair was the wrong shade, his mouth too crooked, eyes too big, shoulders not broad enough, clothes too cheap. He looked like he had to try, put effort into his effortless style, the way he coiffed his hair, the way he was leaning casually into Oliver’s space, even the attempt at a charming twinkle in his eye. But Oliver had lost his rights to touch the original, the masterpiece, the true source of all that was beautiful and important, so the knock-off, this forgery that had so quickly found him would have to do.

Oliver froze, bent in worship in the tub, damp and hard and wanting. How long had Felix been there? What had he seen? What had he heard?

He felt so stupid. How long had he waited in his room, how long had he sat there expecting Felix to reach out to him, only to find Felix down at the pub, a few drinks in, laughing and talking like it didn’t even matter. Oliver wondered if they were laughing at him, making a joke at his expense. Poor Oxfam Ollie and his delusions of friendship. He wondered if Farleigh was delighted to see Felix appear without his usual shadow, if he had praised Felix for leaving Oliver behind, commenting on how much of an awkward try-hard he was. He knew that Felix’s friends only tolerated him at best and was aware of how Farleigh disliked him straight out.
He would not make himself invisible for Felix, fading back into the scenery he had existed as part of before. If Felix wanted to forget him, well then Felix could leave. It was Oliver’s suggestion to go out tonight anyways.
