Alex knew what he’d had at home was a panic attack, or at least the very start of one. The running had helped a bit, but he could still feel the anxiety creeping up on him like thorned vines wrapped around his chest.
He was teetering on the edge of breaking down again, and he couldn’t afford to do that in front of his friends. He knew they’d understand—they always did—but that didn’t make him feel any less guilty.Alex accidentally comes out to his parents... it goes about as well as you'd expect. At least he has Luke, Reggie, and Bobby looking out for him.
