“Arrogant bastard,” Till mutters, already getting to his feet.
He slowly releases his leg, like his body is still stuck to that damn ice, that irritating perfection. Ivan bows again—dry, respectful, calculated down to the last degree. Nothing beyond what’s required. When he straightens, his eyes scan the stands without hurry, automatic, professional.

Would you kindly open my eyes and explain why this is a great plan to begin with?” Acorn coughs, a frown carved into his skin, waiting for Till to justify his actions, already ridden with regret for handing those pills to him. “You know what, both of you are a match made in heaven.” At least that sarcastic response managed to spike a gasp out of Till. That proves that he's still listening to him. Not like his words would penetrate through that thick skull of Till's.
“Yeah. I'm going to expose this bastard's true colours.” Technically, he spiked a drink, but Till would argue that this is necessary evil for justice. For his own vengeance, and not for anyone else, he mutters as the pills slowly dissolve into the lemonade, glowing pink, like a witch's brew.
There's no going back now, since he's halfway here.

Till stood right beside the front doors, his back against the wall. The lighting was positioned on the other side, and shadow befell him like a comforter. The guy hadn't seen him yet.
Till had never seen his stalker up close. He always seemed to vanish as soon as Till was done with his show, so now, it was Till’s turn to just… look at him. He was a handsome guy, to be honest, his clothes were prim and proper, and so was his hair. He seemed out of place in a bar like this, especially in this dingy street outside, but the night suited him, and now, it couldn't have been just a trick of the light. His eyes had, indeed, a deep red glow to them. Till wasn't sure what compelled him to do it. Maybe it was the way the man paused, took in the cloggy night air, the way his pale skin looked against the dark frame of the bar entry. He realized, then, he had never heard the man's voice.

Unable to comprehend why Ivan would ask something so random and ridiculous, he chalks it up to pure nonsense, along with dozens of other things he’s said over the years. “I don’t think I'd mind giving my life up for yours…” He continues, and Till finds himself unable to relax anymore. Barely above a whisper. Suddenly all of the life around them felt lifeless. The trees were no longer breathing, the grass no longer caressed and tickled his cheeks… The chill air wasn’t whispering sweet nothings into his hair anymore. “What are you talking about?
