Logic screamed at him to walk away. But the drink, the loneliness, the weariness, they all blurred into something reckless.
“Okay,” he said.
And so they did.

Even though he wants to tell Minho, to ask for help, he can’t. The hunters are so busy and they’ve given him the home, the family, and the sense of belonging he thought he had lost forever when he was turned. He can ignore the needs of being a vampire for now.
Seungmin is okay. It’s only been a little over a week.
Vampires can go longer than that without blood.

Summary
Minho still wants out, still wants the freedom he lost when they got married, but now, the idea of losing Seungmin feels like a different kind of torture. The more he tries to convince himself that divorce is the answer, the more hollow the words feel.
It would be easier to walk away, to let Seungmin go, but when Minho looks at him, he can’t bring himself to do it. Seungmin has wormed his way between Minho’s ribs and wrapped himself around Minho's heart.
He cares about Seungmin, maybe more than he should, and that scares him. Because if he lets himself fall, if he lets himself care too much, he knows there’s no going back.

Summary
In a way, people are similar to puzzles and Seungmin loves puzzles. Enjoys piecing them together bit by bit and, in turn, finding out what beautiful image lies underneath all the fragments presented to him.
Except what does someone do when they don't have the box? When pieces are missing and the image becomes distorted? Better yet, what’s to be done, when he’s given one of those fucked up clear puzzles. The kind that makes even the picture on the box, the outline to his query, an impossible, never-ending question.
And if Minho’s decided to turn into clear pieces of plastic? Each one unrecognizable from the rest? What does he do?

Summary
When Seungmin loses the first suit, he thinks, ‘Welp, that’s the end of that’, and settles for being disappointed but resigned; actively mopes for less than a day before Minho shows up again at 9 AM sharp, goldfish memory when he presents Seungmin with a second, even harder to prove case. His eyes shine bright when he asks the lawyer, “You game?”
Whether or not Minho is referring to the case still remains to be seen.
(aka Minho is a rich tech mogul who won’t stop suing people and Seungmin is the poor bastard he continually hires to do it.)

“Kim Seungmin,” Lee Minho says, or rather, demands (because when it comes to Seungmin, Minho rarely, if ever, says anything). “I love you.”
Hyunjin, who’s seated beside him on the sofa, chokes and starts coughing up a spit ball. Jeongin, on Hyunjin’s other side, lets out a strangled noise akin to a cat giving birth and loses his grip on the TV remote, which goes skittering across the floor.
Seungmin blinks, unsure if he should play along or inform Minho that he never agreed to a hidden camera prank, especially during off-work hours.
“Good evening to you too, hyung,” he finally says, choosing to do neither. “Can you hand me the remote?”
(or, minho tells seungmin that he loves him. it takes seungmin six months to say it back.)

His pen comes to a halt when he tries to strike it off. Instead, he writes a few more pathetic lines. What’s wrong with being honest to yourself anyways?
I will take it. He writes, stubbornly. Anything Minho gives will be clutched tight between his fist even if it makes him bleed.
Or, Seungmin finds himself in a toxic cycle of having sex with his ex while still holding feelings for him that are entirely too big to carry and maybe, just maybe, he is not the only one trapped.

Every spring that passed, Minho spent it cowering in his tiny little storm shelter under the stairs wondering if this was going to be it. Tornado regions are far bigger than a simple two hour radius, and Minho knows that it’s only luck that has allowed his home to be free of disaster. Some of the most famous, most prolific tornadic events in history, and Minho isn’t even a day’s drive away from them. Fuck, he’d been to Joplin on multiple occasions, both as a child and an adult.
Minho has known tornadoes with a degree of distance.
Or, southern local, Minho, teams up with weather intern, Seungmin, for the upcoming tornado season.
(Technically could be considered a Twister/Twisters AU if you squint)

Minho feels the tips of his ears heating up, the same heat that only ever occurred around and about Kim Seungmin. The only plausible explanation was that he was a demon spawn that made the temperature go up everywhere he went. Realistically, Minho knows this isn’t true, but he’s too stubborn to admit otherwise.
