Merrin is the epitome of cool. First, she has had a lot of practice with it. Her aura alone repels projectiles based on its radiating coolness alone. In fact, Seadall took one look at her and gravely told her that her fate was to rest in coolness, which sounded very legitimate--which is exactly why Merrin has complete confidence she'll have Chloé won over before the end of the week. She'll pull out all the stops: the low voice, the butch swagger (yes, it's a thing), the compliments, the impressive displays of athleticism. Chloé won't stand a chance; Merrin thinks she'll start swooning by day three at the latest.
This will all go to plan, she's sure.
