Maybe things just needed to be juvenile and stupid from time to time. Maybe that’s how life stayed fun even when there was fuck all to do. In the face of growing up, you had find something to keep you sane, right? Maybe they didn’t have to do much differently in order to be responsible adults or whatever. Maybe they just had to keep being Sal and Larry, and the rest would sort itself out. It didn't matter what the future held for them, after all. All that stuff was a long way off.
