Summary
Long ago, in a district far from here, among mountains and caves, a dragon desperately searched to see the light, and found his consolation in the shimmering and shining of riches: gemstones, mountains of coins, mirrors, and anything that would reflect the golden hue of the sun. At night, he would curl up on his cold piles of sunlight, edges digging into his tender underbelly and scraping against the scales there. Still, this dragon had a secret that was only revealed at the new moon. A secret that left Chan vulnerable, naked, and pale with an ache in his bones.
In that same district, a knight by the name of Jisung lived, burdened with memories of death and destruction, sword heavy on his hip as he moved through life. One day, he was tasked with killing a dragon, sent out on a quest that just maybe neither of them had been ready for. After all, in a place where even the hills seem to be breathing, the mountains and their caves can be even more mysterious than the deepest castle cellars, carrying more secrets than the furthest parts of the royal library.

The book is suddenly heavy in his hands, a foreign weight almost like holding a small child for the first time. It was plain, simple, a pastel blue with only a few of the first pages filled out. The edges are a little charred, but the book itself is mainly intact. The book is emotional, like it has its own mind; its own thoughts. Minho has to set it down, throat suddenly feeling as though it’s closing up.
This was real.

Summary
Hyunjin is sitting by the TV, watching a drama Chan doesn't recognise. It's the most basic of basic shows. A pretty, dainty-faced female lead cries into a bouquet of flowers, and then the show cuts to the striking male lead storming away, wiping away his own tears. Hyunjin apparently hasn't clocked that he's seen 12 different variations of this exact scene, because he bawls into a pillow harder than the female lead.
Felix is patting his back distractedly with one hand while motioning towards Jeongin where the TV remote is situated. Over Hyunjin's bent, shaking head, he mouths "GRAB IT MOTHERFUCKER!" while Jeongin frantically mouths back "I CAN'T FIND IT" and Seungmin howls with laughter.
alternatively: chan just wants one quiet night in. skz decides that they aren't about that lifestyle.

“I think we should start with Frozen,” Minho butted in, forcing a wide smile as the kids cheered. “Because it's so cold outside.” He reached down to tickle Jisung, pulling shrill giggles from the kid before he reached up imploringly, as he asked to be carried. Minho picked him up easily, hiding his frown at how light the kid was in his hair. “What do you say, Chan-ah? We'll make hot chocolate and popcorn and we can all curl up under fuzzy blankets and watch movies all afternoon.”
Chan bit his lip before sighing, unable to deny his little brothers anything. They cheered, Jisung wiggling happily in Minho’s arms while Jeongin squeezed Chan’s neck tighter, pressing a sloppy kiss to his cheek in his excitement.

Six year old Jeongin is saved by fifteen year old Chan and gains three new big brothers in the process.
