Virgil hasn't spoken to a single one of his friends in weeks.
It hits him then, the enormity of it all. His chest stutters, and his eyes burn, and the beautiful greens in the canopy aren't enough to stop him from choking on his grief. He stumbles over to an empty bench. His hands are shaking, and it's three in the afternoon, and it's probably a weekend, and he tried to kill himself last fall.

Some say it can turn into a person. It can become as non-descript as the man in the tavern you get your whiskey from; It can be as powerful as the people who collect your taxes. You would never know until it is too late.

Because maybe, just maybe, you didn't love them with the deepest part of your heart in the past loops enough.You'd already done this before, but maybe you just needed to love them more.
