It’s been a long time since Kaori Sango, the Captain of the New Squidbeak Splatoon, had truly allowed themself to unwind. They hadn’t done anything for themself, recently, especially visit their partners back home. But with Mr. Grizz taken care of and the Splatlands and Inkadia finally at peace, Kaori finally had a moment to breathe. Besides, their partners hadn’t met the new Agent Three, and that absolutely couldn’t stand.
Surely—surely—with the whole Splatoon back together, plus Eight, nothing could go wrong. After all, they were unstoppable together!
Meanwhile, something shifts under the surface of Inkadia. Inkfish are disappearing at exponential rates. A disorder is spreading. Those who don’t vanish fall into an almost comatose-like state. The reality of it stampedes the crew like a charging marlin, when it hits them far too close to home.

Janus is allowed to participate in the group, and that is more than enough for them. Almost thirty years of basically not existing right into being able to do their goddamn job at long last? Not too bad of a change up, really, and they aren't going to complain about it any time soon. Patton, however, insists on throwing a wrench into their system- their perfectly functioning, if maybe hypothetically a bit lonely, system. They wished they could be more angry about it than they were.
(In which Janus is accepted, has an identity crisis, and fumbles their way through growth and trust, all the while not nearly as alone as they'd like to convince themself they are.)

There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time update this and take a crack at finishing it. (Links and Images are in, the new Audio and Video tags are not.)
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.

"Well, I think we should just put them under house arrest."
"I say we kill them!" Katara offered.
Zuko heaved a sigh, "We can't just kill my Ministers."
Aang couldn't help himself, "We shouldn't be killing anyone, remember? Pacifism, and all that."
There was a pause, and then some shuffling. Katara was the first one on her knees, peering at them curiously.
"Why are you two under the bed?"
"Sleeping," they replied in unison.
Zuko rolled his eyes, "Well, sleep on the bed. It's better for your posture."
Toph huffed, scrambling out, "Yes, dad."
"Katara, Sokka, our child is being stubborn."
