Summary
Hiraeth (Welsh): A deep homesickness; an intense longing for something irretrievably lost.
"And what becomes of us? The likes of me?"
Lan Zhan shrugs. "They just have to be loved till they learn to believe," he says, looking straight into Wei Ying's eyes, as if it's only the most blatant truth, as if he has no reason to avert his eyes, as if it really is just that simple.
"The likes of you."
The Jiang Tech prodigy falls into an arrangement of mutual bedroom favours with his so-called nemesis, the second Lan heir, assuming the odds against them are high enough for complications like feelings to never rear their head. It takes a particularly wretched intervention for him to realize just how naive he had been.

Summary
Lan Wangji's travels take him to a nondescript yet somehow painfully familiar seaside town. His reception is unusual; he is met with wistful stares and frantic whispers, and it all comes crashing down when the inn's proprietress utters a name he hasn’t heard in years.

Or, Lan Wangji accidentally ends up in his mother’s hometown.

Summary
Since he was a child, since Lan Wangji had first become aware of his own alienating effect on others, he has long resigned himself to a loveless marriage. Perhaps even a companionate one, so long as his partner was agreeable and unbothersome and let him have his own space.
He could not have even begun to predict Wei Wuxian.

Summary
At sixteen Wei Wuxian is—through some strange twist of fate, or a nick in the layer between parallel universes, who knows—out of the blue confronted with that one incense burner dream one night.
While his curious mind is left unable to stop poking at this new perspective on Lan Wangji, circumstances in the Cloud Recesses begin to change and Wei Wuxian is suddenly presented with life-altering opportunities.
Maybe Gusu isn’t so bad after all?

Summary
Lan Wangji is kissing him, and kissing him, and kissing him, because he can do nothing else. Wei Ying is huffing breathless laughter into it, and holding him close until he is done.
“You like it, then,” he says through a satisfied grin.
Again, Lan Wangji does not think that quite covers how he feels knowing that Wei Ying had thought about him, about what they had done, about his words, and had transformed those thoughts into new cultivation theory and weeks of work, just to give him a gift. Lacking any way to fully express this, he simply nods.
Wei Ying’s grin turns predatory. “Want to try it?”
Wei Wuxian gives Lan Wangji a gift. He struggles to cope with how much he likes it.
This turned into over 20k of smut with a loosely consistent emotional thread and I don't even know how it happened.Series

It's a hell with no room for Tony Stark, who just happens to be standing in the middle of his motel room.

How long will his secrets keep when Harry is the only one standing between his brother and the world?
A story about family, friendship, growing up, and, of course, the most powerful magic of all
