“Closer so I can fuck you better, shit-cook.” It was worth it for the widening of Sanji’s eyes, the almost visible uptick in his pulse as he registered the words and the pain of the kick he landed on Zoro’s shin.

Usopp pushed open the door quietly and immediately froze.
There, illuminated by the soft galley lights, were Zoro and Sanji locked in an intimate embrace. Sanji's back was pressed against the counter, his hands tangled in Zoro's green hair, while the swordsman held him close with surprising gentleness. They were kissing - actually kissing - and it wasn't the angry, aggressive kind of contact Usopp was used to seeing between them.
"HOLY-" Usopp's voice cracked as he stumbled backward.
The two men sprang apart instantly, both spinning around with expressions of pure panic.
Footsteps echoed from the hallway as Usopp's outburst had apparently gather some attention from others.
Sanji and Zoro exchanged a panicked look.
"Please," Sanji said desperately. "Don't tell anyone. Not yet. We need to figure out how to-"
"Tell anyone what?" Luffy's head popped around the doorframe, followed quickly by the rest of his crews
"Well," Zoro sighed, running a hand through his hair.
Sanji took a deep breath, lighting his cigarette with slightly shaking hands. "We... Zoro and I... we're together."
The silence that followed was deafening.
