“I’m not,” Marinette replies, cutting him off.
Adrien lifts a brow, taken aback by the way she purses her lips, but it’s Luka that has enough brain matter to respond. “And why’s that? You didn’t like him after all?”
“Not as much as I like you both.” Her eyelashes bat, soft and coy. She’s always so honest, it’s disarming— Adrien is absolutely shocked silent as she picks up his hand in her own, and brings it up to her mouth to kiss. She gives the back of his palm a gentle press of her lips, yet firm enough for him to feel the heat of her breath against his skin. Red lipstick stains his knuckles. “After all, why would I get a pretentious human asshole, when I could get the better demon version instead?”

Summary
Peter Parker isn’t Spider-Man anymore. No, he left his suit and that life behind after Gwen, Harry and everything else went wrong. He packed his bag and took off, looking for someplace where he won’t see Gwen’s ghost on every corner, someplace where he won’t have nightmares every night.
Wade Wilson isn’t Deadpool anymore. No, he told a client to fuck off when he’d been sent to end someone who… didn’t deserve it So he left, packed his bag and headed for a place where the voices in his head don’t scream at him, where he can find some peace.
When Omega Peter ends up in Alpha Wade’s life, Wade tells him to keep his distance, not to ask about his scars, and to not bother him with his heat. Their arrangement works, each of them living with their own secrets, orbiting around each other but not to each other, until the Alpha starts staring a little too much, and the Omega starts needing some company.
Wade’s past catches up with him unexpectedly and Peter has to come to terms with the Deadpool side of his Alpha and it nearly tears them apart. But Peter still has a secret of his own. And he isn’t sure how Wade will react to that at all.*re-edited and divided into chapters for easier reading!*
