Summary
A non-chronological, nonsensical love story between two soldiers during and after the war. After the war: Roy and Havoc star in the hit indie film Captain Amestris. After the war: Major [redacted] Elric becomes Mr. Edward Elric, an eccentric research professor surrounded by constant scandal. After the war: they have to find their way back to each other, and to what they almost had.

Summary
Edward Elric was a sane, rational, down-to-earth person, even if a certain Colonel pretended he wasn’t. He didn’t believe in ghosts, he didn’t believe in magic or curses, and he certainly didn’t believe in the existence of other worlds.
“If the supernatural really exists,” he would often say with a smirk, smugly folding his arms, “then show me the evidence.”
One day, the universe decided to oblige him, and his life became one big Exhibit A. It’s hard enough to deal with being thrown into another universe without being forced to investigate the ghost of a king haunting his capital. Him and his big fucking mouth.
Either way, that’s the last time he ever reads something from the Alternative section.
Or:
Roy isn’t prepared to deal with finding the corpse of Edward Elric. He definitely isn’t prepared to deal with his corpse waking up a few hours later and smashing his fist into Roy’s jaw. Even in death, the Fullmetal Alchemist is a pain in his ass.

Summary
It was obvious what the problem was, Tucker had thought, turning research over in his mind. The first one had been too old to adapt. Nina would have solved that problem just fine, but a fragile girl like that wouldn’t make it through the transmutation with her mind in one piece. If only he had someone—stronger. The ability to deal with trauma like an adult combined with the neuroplasticity of a child. The best of both worlds. Was such a thing possible?
When the solution hit him, he couldn’t stop himself from smiling. Nina smiled back, and he ruffled her hair. If only she knew.
Yes, it was a brilliant idea. Why hadn’t he seen it before? It had been right under his nose the whole time.
Edward Elric was the perfect candidate for becoming his next talking chimera.
This was sure to be his finest achievement yet.

Summary
A rogue alchemist, desperate to restore the alchemy of the famous Fullmetal Alchemist, pushes Truth into playing a new game - one that has Edward Elric waking up on the floor of his house where a transmuted abomination should have been, just in time to save his younger self and brother. He might have a chance to do everything again, now, though...He would never hold anything but bitterness for the title of 'dad,' but maybe an older brother could make things better.

Summary
Evidently Ed is not okay. He hadn’t really let himself exist fully in his body since opening his eyes this morning; but here, now, in front of Roy - he can’t be anywhere else, and that’s not good. For one, his right shoulder has decided to join the hurt party something fierce, so that’s fun; but mostly, it’s that the urgent pressure behind his eyes has come back more than at full force (did it ever go away?), and suddenly Ed’s vision is swirling and blurry, a wildfire of heat slapping across his nose and cheeks.
Oh, god.
Or: Ed's hurting, and Roy's the first person to stay long enough to really see him.

Summary
Roy stroked his fingers through Ed’s hair until Ed was almost asleep. “Promise me, Ed. When you remember, you won’t hate me for this.”
He looked up at Roy. “How could I ever hate you?”
Roy didn’t answer, but the sadness in his eyes spoke eloquently. For the first time since he heard Roy say the name Fullmetal, he began to doubt his place at Roy’s side.Ed wakes in a hospital bed with no memory. Based on the fic I wrote for the Meatsword 2023 5-sentence challenge!

A collection of bonding moments between Hawks and Edward Elric that lead to an unexpected relationship.
An alternate ending to my fanfic 'Most Ardently' + Main Series 'The Fullmetal Alchemist versus Japan'. Reading the main series will provide context for some things but I honestly don't think it's required to read it to understand this for the most part. It's okay to read on it's own.
