“Hello? Is there a cat here?” Eggchan asks out loud, peeking around all the trash bags. He ignores the smell to the best of his ability as he walks closer to the quiet rustling. It takes him a second to spot where the movement is coming from; his vision isn’t the greatest, especially in the dark, and then another second to spot the fluffy tail poking out from beneath a torn cardboard box.
He carefully reaches out to remove the cardboard.
“Are you— oh my days.” Eggchan blinks. Two yellow eyes blink back at him. “You’re purple.”
or eggchan is a broke college student and is nice to a strange, purple cat. it's both the best and worst decision of his life.

Summary
If Two Time could line up every inch of their grief, not even the length of that regret could begin to stitch back together the remains of their heart. At times even the swaddle of their faith could not contain that pain, but to verbally denounce that decision would be to turn their back on the faith that led them down that path in the first place.
Was it all still worth it?
Azure is saying something, but Two Time cannot understand. They understand though, that they were wrong for what they did; they knew this from the instant that horrid dagger had sunk into his chest.

Summary
Chattering bounced around, and both laughter and light-hearted arguments could be heard. Unlike the raging, item-throwing war of words, Time had grown accustomed to.
It was so different, not so long ago. No one rarely talked to each other, and when they did, arguments broke out, chairs, weapons were thrown. Nothing would stop the others from violence. including Time. They couldn’t help themselves, letting a sly comment fall, and not hesitating to pull out their dagger. It was hard not to lean into distrust, the situation they were all in made that clear.
Or: Two Time slowly opens up to the others, as they do as well. They still go through the rounds as they all learn how to live in this new life together.

They could never hurt him.
The two of them run away together. To the outside world that Two Time has been told is horrible and cruel and full of evil people.

But as time goes on, disaster always seems to strike. Something wants Azure off the throne… and it’ll go to any lengths to do so.
