There was an unsure, wavering flicker in Kaveh’s gaze when he turned to Alhaitham. As if he wasn’t sure he had heard that right. Eyelashes batting as he blinked multiple times with furrowed eyebrows that only slowly softened as he processed the seriousness in Alhaitham’s words.
Kaveh was an anomaly that simply couldn’t fit in Alhaitham’s life. But not having him there felt more wrong than anything. Trying to form something deeper with Kaveh through a journey of love and hurt, he begins to understand that some things are not meant to be.
