He still felt so weak, but he looked down at his hands that were bandaged from burns and cuts on them from the amount of times he had tried to explode his way out of his cuffs. He was still trying to catch up to what all was happening.

“And that’s not healthy Yuuji!” Megumi stood up suddenly, hands finding purchase at his hair in exasperation. “I’d get it if he got angry, but he can’t go around bruising you because you defied him once. Just tell me what’s wrong.”

After the Death Painting Arc, Yuuji wonders why he doesn't receive any praise like his friends did. He seeks Sukuna for comfort, guessing the others won't care about him. It was like anything he did didn't have any value. He was back to square one. Once again, he was weak.

Still, it didn’t make any sense to Megumi. They didn’t have to resort to buying a bride. Their family was powerful enough that any family would be begging to give up their daughter so for Naobito to resort to buying this bride meant…there’s something else here, something that Megumi couldn’t quite put his finger on.

Erens world was Grey. The coffee he drank at 6 am in the morning had the same dark grey shade as the hair of the mid aged woman who stopped by at the cupcake store everyday around 1 pm to get a cup of tea. The tea was only slightly lighter and the 2 extra pounds she dropped into the jar next to the cashbox after receiving her receipt didn't make the grey change in any way.
It was the same each passing day, the same shades of grey, which were probably more than 50, the same cup of coffee the same procedure, the same until a man in his early twenties sat foot into the store.
