“Oh?” Eddie thinks back to yesterday. Steve had looked well, had acted well – Had he been hiding how he felt, or had it been an abrupt sickness?
“Yeah,” Robin let her body sag, her body weight resting mostly onto the desk. “He said it wasn't too bad, but he didn't want to give it to anyone, so he’s callin’ sick,” She looked down at the desk, fingers dog earring random pages of the magazine and fiddling with them. Eddie watched as the look on her face turned more concerned. “He even said no to me when I told him I could come over and drop off some soup tomorrow,”
“He loves your soup,” Eddie mumbled, his brows knitting together.
“Yeah,” Robin sighed. “I think it's worse than he's telling me,”
Steve is a werewolf. Eddie is a vampire. The full moon is just hours away.

He sits up with the help of shaky arms, crossing his legs. It's then that he notices a few things.
One: He is in a room.
Two: The hallway light that spills through the open door and onto the other side of the room helps calm his mind, not letting the shadows morph into monsters and scare him senseless.
Three: There's a hand on his knee, under the covers.
Four: Someone is leaning onto him, arms wrapping around him.

Two hands come to gently cup his face, slowly turning it to the side.
His heart skips a beat seeing Steve right there, bedhead and all.
"Are you back, Eds?" He asks, and his voice is low, raspy, full of sleep.
"Yeah," His voice is scratchy, and he swallows the lump in his throat and clears it aswell. He brings his arms down, hands shaking and landing on either side of him before placing them ontop of Steve's own. "Yeah, I'm back now,"
Eddie has a nightmare, and Steve is always there for him.

He's lost in thought when he hears a car pull up. He sighs in relief, the morning cold getting to him the longer he's outside.
"Finally, you took your time—" Eddie stilled when he looked up, eyes landing on the car close to him.
That wasn't Steve's car. And the person that got out surely was not Steve.
"Munson," Jason walked slowly up to Eddie, hands in his pockets, a sick smile on his face.
Eddie gets a job at Family Video, thanks to Robin and Steve. One day, Steve is late to open up on their shared morning shift. Cue the hurt.

“See! Even Sieun disagrees with you. The man who knows everything.” Gotak huffed out.
Baku pouted and turned to Sieun, “How can you agree with him?”
Unthinking, Sieun replied mildly, "I took Ox bone soup for Suho when he ended up in hospital once for fighting.”
A pause. Then a couple more.
