“You must have a thing for dads, hm?” Wakatoshi teases, a rarity in his otherwise stoic nature.
It’s a side of him reserved mostly for Hajime, and sometimes Tobio and Kourai. Though, most jokes tend to go over both of their heads. Figuratively for Tobio, literally for Kourai.
Hajime’s grin widens and his grip around Wakatoshi tightens, eyes glancing between both his lips and unfocused eyes. “Says the guy staring at my tits,” Hajime retorts fondly, sinking a hand down to squeeze Wakatoshi’s bottom. “My eyes are up here, you know.”

“It’s stuffy in this box, Tobio-kun!” Atsumu whines through the bluetooth speaker on Tobio’s car, his shrill voice amplified. It causes him to cringe, scrunching his nose in disappointment at his friends whining.
“This isn’t about you and your comfort, Atsumu,” Tobio recalls vividly. “If I recall correctly, you wanted to surprise your boyfriend like this. I’m just the one picking him up from the airport.”

"Keep still, you idiot," Mu Qing snaps when Feng Xin wriggles for what seems like the thousandth time in under a half hour.
Unlike Mu Qing, who is seated cross-legged on a cleared patch of ground, Feng Xin is kneeling on the sharp gravel of the cave floor. His knees are bleeding. His hands are shoved between his calves and thighs, and none of that seems to be enough to dissuade the effects of the Land of Tender poison. His hips keep hitching upwards and he's visibly hard, even through the thick traveling robes they are both wearing.
The two of them are effectively trapped until the poison wears off or the dozens of binu and flower monsters outside lose interest, since Feng Xin caved in the entrance in a blind panic to keep the female-shaped ones from swarming him. They could theoretically ascend back to the Heavenly Capital, but Mu Qing refuses to let anyone in the heavens see either of them like this, and Feng Xin hasn't been thinking clearly since well before he panicked and trapped them in a cave together.

It’s chilly enough outside the bar that Mu Qing regrets not wearing a jacket; he folds his arms in front of his chest as he stands close to Feng Xin, leaning over his phone’s screen as he pulls up the ride sharing app. He’s close enough to see the fine stitching on the lapel of Feng Xin’s jacket, and close enough to catch the faint trace of a floral cologne clinging to him.
Feng Xin hesitates with the app open rather than typing a destination address.
“If you want,” he says after a second, “you could come back to my place.”

Mu Qing is starting a new job, and takes his mind off the stress via a one night stand with a handsome man he meets at a bar. He doesn't expect to meet him again at work the next day.
