How Flame and him became roomates was honestly a mystery. To the point where nobody in their lives or general proximity even believed them if they said 'oh we live together'. It's not like they were academic rivals— two very diffefent majors and faculty— or sports rivals— track and volley. Just two dudes who had imaginary beef and decided to settle it in a parking lot. Who would've thought someone who was five-foot-seven and always, usually, in pink could pack a mean punch. Not Wemmbu that's for sure!

"Just tell me, Jo," he says. Disquiet drifts across her face. She sighs, bows her head slightly as she hands him the envelope.
"An invitation." He cracks the wax and opens the thick parchment. "To be the Master of Ceremonies for the upcoming Pandora conference."
A Tolkienesque rewrite of Season 2.5 canon told through the perspectives of the Betrayer and the Betrayed.

Summary
Saparata didn't necessarily have a plan when he reached out to Yggdrasil for safe haven after his world turned upside down. He had even less of a plan when Turntapp of the Covenant had accepted. Adjusting to his new world would not be easy, but what other choice did he have?
He knew he would in the end, though. So long as unforeseen mental and emotional hurdles didn't appear out of nowhere, Saps couldn't imagine this as an experience he couldn't handle.
