Percy didn't do drugs, but he was starting to wonder if someone had slipped an edible into his lunch. He had no other explanation for what was happening at the moment, because surely Jason hadn't said what he thought Jason had said. “Excuse me?”
Jason was definitely blushing now. “I mean — m-my fake boyfriend,” he mumbled, and pushed his silver glasses up his nose. “My dad is hosting this fancy dinner for him, his colleagues, and their spouses. And I'm kind of expected to bring someone…”
Jason Grace, the perfect, smart, athletic son of a rich businessman asks punk skater boy Percy Jackson to be his date to his dad's work dinner. Jason insists he's straight and just wants to piss off his dad, but Percy isn't so sure about that. He accepts Jason's offer and devises a plan to see if Jason is really as straight as he says he is. However, Percy's plan doesn't account for actually falling in love with Jason for real.

Summary
Percy, after having gone through two wars, exhausted and utterly done with the gods, decides to take a break from the Greek world and return to his adopted family back in Gotham.
Well, the family is definitely a lot messier and emotionally-constipated than he remembered, that's for sure.
On the other hand, Jason sees Percy, back from the dead, with a white streak, green eyes, and a new air of darkness to him, and he knows exactly what happened to him.
Spolier alert: he's wrong.
(Or, Percy pulling the batfam out of their self-destructive, guilt-ridden angst bullshit while dealing with his own self-destructive, guilt-ridden angst bullshit. And how fun is that.)

She sinks into the blood surrounding her and Peter, and heaves out a sob, forehead falling forward into their clasped hands as Peter's grip slowly slackens from her hold. Jean feels for a moment that everything around the two of them is exploding into a supernova. The death of the brightest star that Jean's stuck in the orbit of, making way for the birth of something else entirely.

At least that's how they would like it to work out.
