Well, his ex-enemy, if labels were to be technical and accurate. Megatron turns around, the shower coolant already switched to a warmer lubricant mixture, kicking up steam as it patters against the shower floor. Optimus catches his glowing red optics. He remembers that often in the chaos of abstract art, there was a focal point for the mind to rest. He holds onto red amidst the greys, silvers, muted dust brown and metal filings.
    Megatron: Optimus’ unintentional, haphazard artwork – clobbered together from punched metal, hurt ego and Optimus’ own hopes and dreams. A breath catches in Optimus’ throat.
    ‘Let me help you.’
    Megatron cocks a brow. A slight crease in his optic — did humans call that crow’s feet? — and a wry smile breaks through the storm clouding his face.
    ‘You are more than welcome to.’
