Summary
For seven years, Jayce and V were partners at the agency—an unstoppable duo, completely oblivious to their mutually reciprocated feelings—until one day Jayce shows up to work and V is nowhere to be found, only to be told V no longer worked for the Men in Black.
Two years later, and Jayce is still without answers. He hasn't been able to keep a new partner for very long ever since V's disappearance, and now he's being threatened with one last chance before he's benched from the field indefinitely. At this point, he wonders if it'd be better to just roll over and give up—until one day, on his way home, Jayce bumps into someone familiar. Someone he'd missed terribly.
Now Jayce finds himself torn between getting to know this different side of V—of Viktor, neuralyzed, a blank slate—and trying, once and for all, to get to the bottom of why Viktor had left the agency in the first place.

From a young age, Prince John has always been completely fascinated by dragons. But then Price is disappearing on a trip for some months, and in his place John is left with a man that goes only by Ghost, and sometimes seems more dragon than human.
And of course, naturally, they fall in love.

Stranded from his teammates and with nowhere to lay low but in an old cabin, Soap is feeling a bit aggravated.
Uneasy, too—what with the skull-faced portrait hanging above the fireplace, with eyes a little too realistic for Soap's liking.

Ghost and Soap have been dating for a year now—but no one knows that.

Summary
For Ghost, his deviancy is shame. It's hardship, and something he feels a need to keep hidden alongside his android-ness.
For Soap, his deviancy is something to be proud of. To show off, to boast, to prove to humans that he, too, can be somebody.
Ghost loathes Soap. Soap doesn't know Ghost is an android, too.

Summary
Contrary to popular belief, Ghost does get nightmares. Only, after having lived a life of suffering for so long, they hardly affect him anymore, if only because he doesn't let them.
Soap, on the other hand, still deals with nightmares the way most soldiers like him do. And Ghost is powerless to help, because he just doesn't know how.

Summary
At 28 years-old, Soap has already lived a decent amount of his life.
Don't get him wrong—he's certainly grateful for what opportunities he's had, but as he settles in Os Kervo to work for a blacksmith by the name of Price, he finds things start to get a bit boring, and there is, at some point, something left to be desired.
Then a Fjerdan with bicoloured eyes and a stupidly handsome face walks into Price's shop one day, and Soap thinks he's discovered, for the very first time in his twenty-eight years of life, what exactly love is.
It's a very welcome change in his life. The only problem is that Soap is Grisha, and he's not certain if he could ever break that to Simon.
