Bakugou reached for that door, and Shouto stepped forward. They looked back at him with questioning eyes.
He swallowed. “I hope to see you again. This was…”
He trailed off unsure of what word he was searching for. In the end he didn’t have to. Midoriya gave him a blinding smile.
“Of course, Shouto! We’re friends now!”
“Friends?” He repeated to himself.“Definitely friends. Bye, Shouto!” He turned to leave with a wave.
Bakugou followed, sending a glance over his shoulder. “See you later, pretty boy.”
And with that, the door swung shut, leaving Shouto with his thoughts.
People always said that having a crush felt like butterflies in your stomach.
In Shouto’s experience, those butterflies were more like carnivorous plants.

"katsuki!" kaminari shrieked, choking on his laughter. he reached a desperate hand out towards bakugou, always a drama queen. "how could you betray me like this?"
"c'mere you little shit!" kirishima growled before literally tackling kaminari to the ice. katsuki stared in mild horror as they began wrestling on the floor of the rink, shrieking and yelling. several people eyed them with disdain before shuffling away.
"god, you're so damn embarrassing." katsuki hissed, pulling them off the floor by their collars.
now bakugou had two clingy, cold, whiny boyfriends latched onto either side of him, complaining about the injuries they've sustained from wrestling on the fucking ice.
"ei just fucking body slammed me!"
"it was your fault! fuck, did you bite me?"

hizashi smiled as softly as he could. "ah. then what are you listeners standing around for? it's past midnight, and todoroki needs his sleep. he can take the guest bedroom."
