Dream? Dream is being normal about it, and he’s doing a remarkable job. Walking around their kitchen and sitting on the couch and making conversation like he never once woke up with his face in George’s neck.
George on the other hand, is having a hard time forgetting the feeling of spit pooled in his collarbone.

“Shhhh, okay. It’s okay,” Dream tried to soothe, running his thumb over the back of George’s hand and continuing to rub steady circles into his back, his mind racing. He didn’t like the way George’s other hand had moved from being wrapped around his middle to splayed against his side as he bent over. Dream eyed the specific spot they landed on, an unsettling chill settling over his skin.
“What kind of pain? Is it like…aching? Or–”
“Sharp,” George ground out, his eyes squeezing shut as more tears slipped down his cheeks.
Dream’s mind went flashing back to a call he’d had with Sapnap a couple years ago, remembering his friend's tired voice recalling a specific event that made Dream's stomach turn in realization. Shit.
Or; George participates in a hot wings stream that leaves him ill. Unfortunately, that turns out to be the least of his problems.

Dream braces his hand against the open shelf, taking a second to breathe and try and orient himself with the sniffling infant on his arm; it doesn’t work well, and he finds that focusing is hard and breathing is getting even harder. He’s overtired and confused, head aching in the early hour of the morning and making thinking ever so difficult.
He doesn’t know what to do.
Dream was told how hard the teething stage was and he really thought he was prepared for it but sometimes it gets a little too hard on his own. George always says that he doesn't mind coming over, and Dream just hopes that offer to stay would last a little longer than just a panicked phone call at two in the morning.

George huffs, amused, while Dream stands helplessly with his arms hanging at his sides and stares at her with a gaping mouth.
“Oh, my God, you stole my cat,” he whispers, voice pitched higher than usual.
Patches takes a liking to George, and Dream is jealous, so they take the obvious route– all three of them sleep in George's bed.
