She knows he is gone, still, she finds comfort in his presence nonetheless. But when Caine mistakes her situation for something he can fix, he searches through the circus’s archived files and accidentally restores Jax from his original brain scan — the version of him from the day he first entered the circus.

Post Episode 9. Pomni realizes that she's fallen in love with Jax. It's a terrible mistake, but this is coming from the same woman who breaks into abandoned buildings as a hobby. No one ever said that falling in love was logical.
