Summary
Hot. Wet. The flick of a forked tongue along the point of his right ear, not short enough to be an accident, and not long enough to constitute more than an agonizing tease.
The noise Astarion makes might be one of the most undignified sounds to have ever crossed his lips. He doesn’t care.
Avernus rarely offers the chance for downtime (or romance), so Astarion, Wyll, and Karlach have to find ways to make the most of what they're given. Or: the Hells' star polycule discovers elf ear kink.

Summary
Wolfwood could ignore it. Or, well, maybe he could have. If this were any other city. Any other night. Any other song, even, because it’s one that Vash knows—Vash, whose eyes light up even behind his stupid glasses, even more bright cyan than the neon, than clear desert sky at high noon.
Because that’s the problem. Has been all along. That it can’t be, could never be, anyone other than Vash the goddamn Stampede who looks at him like that.
Between the start of Julai and the end of it, Vash and Wolfwood see if either one of them can get drunk. Or: a last supper, of sorts.

Summary
There are a hundred salacious old wives’ tales and smutty stories about elven ears. Basquiat has heard more than their fair share. Turns out, when it comes to Tav, those rumors might actually be true.

Summary
A shadow flickers over Basquiat’s face; Astarion only realizes how close he’s drawn to them when they lean back. “Then why not leave?”
Not quite pin-drop silence—a frog screams somewhere far off—but the question hangs in the air as much as the stench of the swamp itself.
“Say that again,” he says, slowly, almost dangerously.
Or: Astarion should know by now that beggars can't be choosers. Unfortunately for him, Basquiat seems like the choosy type. || Early Act 1. Astarion x nonbinary!Tav.

Summary
It’s clear that Tav Demond is a devoted sort of man: devoted to the bakery that bears his family name, devoted to his younger sisters' happiness. He’s also hopelessly devoted to flirting with Astarion every time the spawn stops into the shop, just before dawn each day, to buy a handful of pretty cakes that neither he, nor his victims, ever truly get to enjoy. Astarion, for his part, thinks of Tav as just another potential mark.
But when Astarion finds himself drawn to the bakery kitchen after a flight from Cazador—and when Tav tells him he can stay—it’s hard to think of a better use for the man's devotion than as a shield.
A "Kiki's Delivery Service" style Bakery AU still set in Faerûn, no tadpoles. Astarion x m!Tav.

The Ace of Cups in the upright: new relationships, the font of creation, unmistakable love. in the reverse: denial of feelings, a disconnect from one's emotions.
The King of Swords in the upright: clear insight, mental acuity, intellectual power, a decisive mediator. in the reverse: a tendency for manipulation, inability to express feelings, abuse of power.
The Chariot in the upright: self-actualization, freedom, adaptability, forward momentum. in the reverse: recklessness, lack of focus, an unwillingness to take responsibility for one's own decisions.

The fact that they are on the same side, on the same team and fighting for more or less the same cause doesn't change the fact that Hanzo Shimada and Cole Cassidy compete about everything.

Summary
Hanzo has lived without certain things for so long that he has all but forgotten about them. Cassidy is a bright red exclamation mark of a reminder, and Hanzo discovers that the saying "out of sight, out of mind" unfortunately also works in reverse.
Meanwhile, Cassidy is an exceptional liar, and the most egregious of his lies are the ones he tells himself.

Bookmarker's Notes
some of the hands down best writing quality writing i have seen in the bg3 tag. an interpretation of astarion as demisexual that handles his post-traumatic healing with such grace and care throughout this series, where the author's grasp on what is going on inside his head and how he speaks is down so pat that in a blind test i would've thought it was lost in-game dialogue. diiana, our tav, is an absolute ray of seladrine sunshine, and it's so nice to find a tav with a clear voice. i started with "spend my days" and read the rest in about an hour. astral plane number of stars for this review.
