Has V returned, or is Judy simply chasing after nothing more than a faded memory?
A mystery-thriller set 6 months after The Path of Glory ending. The stakes will be high as different characters navigate the crime-ridden streets of Night City, the dangerous world of corporate boardrooms, or the unforgiving desert sands. Summary
It started with a smile, that damn smile.
Or was it her eyes? The tattoos maybe? To be honest, V was thrown so off guard in that moment waiting at the bar that she couldn’t even remember what it was exactly that inexplicably drew her to this woman out of all people in Night City. All she knew was that the woman that was now reclined in the chair in front of her threw off her normally steely and composed demeanor without even trying. V had to remind herself that she was a professional merc working the gig of a lifetime, not some choomba looking for some company on a Friday night.
A fic about how V came into this gig totally prepared before Judy ruined all her plans-for the better. They're gonna have their ups and downs before eventually leaving this god forsaken city together. We've got action, feelings, V being a gonk, and yes-smut (Ch. 8, 12, 17, 20).

Summary

These are mostly copies of reddit posts I've been tinkering with, but since the subreddit is primarily dedicated to Judy, I may eventually venture out and try new characters and pairings. V and Judy’s relationship deepens, but V struggles to make everything feel right. Is it the trauma leftover from Johnny causing problems, or is there more to it?
