Summary
In a world where diplomacy demands deception, Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Dr. Beverly Crusher step into a lie that exposes the fragile truths between them. Bound by protocol, forced to pretend what they’ve always buried, they navigate alien elegance, intimate proximity, and unhealed wounds. Beneath the surface of practiced poise lies a history too heavy to ignore—and a love too dangerous to name. As shadows of the past stir and new possibilities bloom in unexpected places, one truth becomes inescapable: pretending was never the problem. It's what happens when the pretending stops.

Summary
Beverly had never intended for their separation to be permanent, even if that is what it had been in danger of becoming. For his own sanity, Jean-Luc had long ago given up any hope of seeing her again. With a chance to build something new, with their son in the middle of it, Beverly and Jean-Luc uncover old wounds and tend fresh pain while the rest of the world rebuilds.
Or, the final first time. (Eventually.)

Jean-Luc Picard was no stranger to denying himself—for duty, for pride, for friendship. For a lifetime, his response had been to turn away from what he could not have. Old habits die hard.

“Johnny why didn’t Walker ever get on you about not having a next of kin listed in your personnel file,” Jack Crusher waved the padd around from the couch in Jean-Luc Picard’s Ready Room.
This was supposed to be "The Five Times Jean-Luc Really Didn’t Need an Emergency Contact + The One Time He Really Did" but then it gained feelings and I couldn't control it.

Summary
Anyone would’ve expected her to flinch, but after everything she’s seen, she hasn’t flinched in years.
“Do you trust me?” he asked, his tone unreadable to her. It was a trick question. It had to be. After all, he was the one who spent years drilling it into her head that she was not to trust anyone.“Should I?”
He chuckled. “Probably not,” he said, far too cool for her liking.
In the dark mirror-verse, Jean-Luc takes his relationship with Beverly to a dangerous level.

Summary
"I didn’t plan on leaving, as I just told you. I planned the opposite. But Jean-Luc, there were consequences that we didn’t see coming. There was no time for us to sit and think about the fact that we had just fallen into bed together. I thought, for a fleeting moment among the chaos, that we would pretend it never happened. But consequences have a way of finding a path to you no matter where you may be. I made the choice to leave because I wanted to spare you of these consequences."
A year after being aboard the Enterprise, Beverly makes an abrupt decision to leave the ship and take a temporary posting at Starfleet Medical Headquarters. Speculation as to why she has left is tossed around, but in a series of letters to Jean-Luc, she explains the truth… and the secret that sent her running.

Summary
After a very public fight, both Jean Luc and Beverly refuse to apologize to each other, citing that the other was wrong. As a game to entice the other to apologize first, they withhold sex from each other. Now, they’re both set on trying to tease the other one to the point where they’ll cave and apologize first. The entire ship's crew watches in disbelief (and places bets on) at the lengths they’ll both go to in order to win the game
This would somehow become the notoriously known great battle of Picard v. Crusher. Anyone from high ranking senior staff to janitorial crew members were aware of, and subsequently involved in what was to become described as ‘holy shit, you just had to be there.’ And at the end of the day, it wasn’t just about who would apologize first; it was about who would break first

Summary
Jean-Luc inhaled sharply from next to her and she immediately knew that he was awake. That should’ve been enough for her to still her hand and at least try to pretend that she wasn’t shamelessly masturbating in front of him, but everything they both felt was far too overwhelming to give a damn. She didn’t need to explain, he already knew just from their connection that she had witnessed his dream and that had set a domino effect into motion. His dream and his desire awakening her own, him feeling her lust and sparking it alive within her had heightened his own until it became a paradox of torture.
While stranded on Kesprytt, Beverly witnesses a dream about herself coming from Jean-Luc’s mind. However, neither of them were aware that sensing each other’s feelings would lead to an echo effect in their implants. Overwhelmingly desperate for each other, they do the only thing they can to put an end to the never ending relay of heightened arousal.

“If I have to go, then your father has to go,” Beverly said as she attempted to fasten Jean-Luc’s collar, “and if you say your collar size hasn’t changed since the Academy, I will actually leave you there defenseless.”
“And if I have to go, Jack, then you’re going,” Jean-Luc said, cringing as Beverly nearly caught his skin again.
While attending the Admiral's Ball, Jack finds out a secret about his parents that they've been keeping from him.

Summary
From where she stood, she couldn’t see the hand he had in his pocket. Keeping entirely focused on the conversation he was having, he activated the device to a medium setting. Beverly’s body lurched without her permission as the vibrations came back to life, rumbling against every deep and sensitive spot inside of her.
“You managed to fool an empath. Well, at least I think you did. Maybe she sensed your arousal the moment you stepped on this deck,” he taunted, his hand rubbing small circles on her lower back. “There’s never any fooling Guinan, so let’s not kid ourselves. However, I wonder if you’ll be able to fool a full telepath.”
That caught her attention. She jerked her head upright to look at him, shooting him daggers with her eyes. “What does that mean?”
While attending a birthday party at Ten Forward, Jean-Luc decides to have a little fun with seeing how far he can push Beverly.
