“It’ll just make you more ill, John. Here, you can come with me to get a towel.” He offered, but John’s crestfallen expression was steadfast, he didn’t move.

George shrugged; his face inscrutable. “S’not that. Me chair’s just bloody stiff.” He glowered down at the offending hardwood, and John broke into a startled laugh.
Behind John, Paul sighed. “Georgie, why didn’t y’say? C’mere.” He patted his thigh delicately with one hand, and it was Ringo’s turn to snort a laugh, shocked.

Spreading the remaining coke like a sweet jam. It wasn't even enough to do anything for the others high probably. Still, he kept his finger there and eventually, like an afterthought, moved to mapping out the other's mouth. Tracing it over his back molars, the small divots and dents. Worn down bone, worn down George. Erosion.
