The omega stands up and holds the armrest when he suddenly feels dizzy as the alpha’s scent gets harder to ignore. He swallows back an embarrassing whine his omega wants to let out. He needs to get a grip. “I appreciate you coming over. I was a bit overwhelmed, but as you can see, I’m fine now.”
“Right,” the alpha gives him a once-over. Louis bites the inside of his cheek as he shifts from one leg to the other under Harry’s intense stare. “I’ll see you on Friday then. Goodnight.”
Louis smiles tightly and walks over to the door, a little too eager to get the alpha out of his home. As soon as Harry is gone, he leans his forehead against the door until he can control his emotions. The warm feeling Harry gives him when the alpha tries to take care of him leaves him feeling more confused and frustrated.
He is supposed to have already moved on.
