"You ate this," the revulsion is palpable in Sirius’s voice, "last night?"
Remus nods again, a little dumb.
"It's fucking raw," Sirius gives the camera his signature line, voice steady and condemning.
After the sudden death of his mother, Remus is left in charge of his family's highly successful restaurant, despite harboring a private resentment for the business, the food, and the fact that humans need to eat daily at all.
Things are going poorly. Enter famous, foul-mouthed reality TV chef Sirius Black and his brand-new TV show, Save Us, Sirius!
or, Prompt #65 for Moony's Midlife Crisis Fest 2026: Sirius is Gordon Ramsey. Remus is a restaurant owner who is on Kitchen Nightmares.

Summary
When two-time Oscar winner and walking PR catastrophe Sirius Black drunkenly torpedoes his career at an award show, his manager sends him to The Graham Norton Show for damage control.
(Un)fortunately, sharing the sofa that night is bestselling reclusive novelist RJ Lupin: cardigan-clad, and far too attractive for Sirius’s peace of mind.
Somewhere between hundreds of viral memes and stolen phone numbers, what begins as a PR nightmare might just become the first honest thing either of them has ever done in years.

Summary
"You're awake," Remus says mildly, taking a moment to catalogue his patient; he looks significantly healthier than he did when he'd been brought in, still worryingly pale but not nearly as emaciated, his eyes slow and unfocused as they meet Remus's own.
"You sound surprised," Black responds, voice cracking from disuse.
"It was touch-and-go for a minute there," Remus tells him, he's never been one to sugarcoat the reality to his patients. Black nods, still mostly expressionless, and Remus wonders if he's in shock or still under the effects of the pain potions administered to him in his sleep. Probably both. "Would you like some water?" Remus offers, and Black nods again. Wandlessly, wordlessly, Remus summons a tall glass with a straw, and fills it with an easy Aguamenti.
"Impressive," Black comments as he accepts the glass, craning his neck to reach the straw in his reclined position. "Thank you… Healer Lupin, was it?"
"Yes," Remus confirms, inclining his head to accept the compliment.

Summary
3000 words. That was all. Sirius just had to get this essay down to 3000 words.
3120 words, said his psychology essay’s word count, rudely.
Fuck you, he said back to the word count.
You’re so sleep-deprived, you’re hallucinating an argument with Microsoft Word, the word count replied wittily. Also, you want to shag men.
Bollocks. The word count was right.
-
After realising that he’s probably at least a little bit gay, Sirius Black falls into a prolonged spell of bad luck.
This is definitely because of some big fuckoff cosmic reason completely unrelated to him, and not just because he’s a bit of a twat.

Summary
2016 was supposed to be Remus' year to focus on himself; after several exhausting years of hard work and mental breakdowns, he's ready to just focus on his YouTube channel and writing. Enter his agent Tonks, who has other ideas.
Suddenly, he's been wrangled into competing in the nation's beloved Strictly Come Dancing with the world's most spiteful professional dancer. However, when disaster strikes, who else would step in but gorgeous, kind professional dancer Sirius Black? It's not easy being the show's first same-sex couple, but as the weeks go by, Remus finds he has his eyes on something more than the coveted glitterball.

Summary
Remus Lupin joins a multiplayer stream expecting chaos, mediocre gameplay, and maybe a few laughs.
He does not expect Sirius Black.
What starts as shared games and relentless Twitch chat commentary turns into late-night Discord calls, comfortable silences, and someone who always stays on the line just a little longer than necessary. As their friendship deepens into something dangerously close to love, Remus and Sirius have to navigate livestreams, long distance, and the question of what parts of themselves they’re willing to make public—and which ones they want to keep just for each other.
A modern Streamer AU about soft moments hidden in plain sight, chat that refuses to mind its business, and two people learning how to choose each other—on screen and off.

Summary
“So, are you coming? Say yes. Just so you know, Padfoot has been driving me up the fucking wall, and if you say no, I will come through this fire and kill you, frame Pads, and I’ll go by myself.”
_________
Sirius is not an idiot, no matter what James says. He knows he was meant to be a Gryffindor. He was meant to keep his feet firmly on the ground because no one (not even Fleamont) has managed to perfect a haircare range that leaves your locks silky smooth after even a few death-defying dives on a broomstick. He also knows that Remus Lupin can't dance. He's undeniably gorgeous, but there is absolutely no way that lanky beanpole can do anything elegantly (maybe he's a little elegant when he licks his thumb to turn the pages in his latest book but Sirius certainly doesn't watch that).
Except he might just be wrong.

Summary
“Alright, Vancouver, we have arrived—at the very first bridge of the evening! Now, I have a question… do any of you gorgeous people happen to know the lyrics to this bridge?”
Teddy Lupin sure does. And Remus… well, he’s just glad his kid happens to be standing next to someone else who seems equally passionate. Even if it is a grown adult man with messy black hair wearing red heart-shaped glasses and a shirt indicating he has ‘A Lot Going On At The Moment.’ The guy’s friend doesn’t seem like bad company either.
-OR-
A fic in which Remus takes his 10-year-old son to the Eras Tour for Christmas and gets a lot more than he bargained for. ’Tis the damn season, as they say.

When Remus hauled the last box over the threshold of a picturesque cottage in Cotswolds less than two years ago, he thought it was the last time he had to move. For a long time or perhaps ever.
Well, as it turns out, it wasn’t forever nor even for a particularly long time.

This was written for the R/S Kink 2013 challenge. The prompt was: remus / sirius sexy skype call while one is on a mission for the order [this is obviously a modern au] i dont care who gets naked but it’s gotta happen
So here you have it: An AU set during the summer/autumn of 2013 – which here is the summer after OotP. Oh, and Sirius definitely survived the battle at the Ministry.
Rated M for excessively naughty language, irresponsible use of alcoholic beverages, and lots of smut.
