Summary
His assailant leaps at him while he's distracted. Izuku shoves him on instinct, and the stranger shrieks when he hits the ground. He tries to roll over. There’s a vegetable knife sticking out of his back.
“Fuck,” says Izuku. “Fuck, oh god, I killed someone.”
(Izuku does have a quirk - it's the power to see when someone has unhealthy attachment issues and obsessive tendencies. That would explain why some of his classmates seem a little off.
Except Kacchan, probably. Kacchan's always been dangerous.)

Summary
This is the way the world works: the sun rises in the east. The strong come out on top. Bakugou Katsuki rockets through life like a comet and Midoriya Izuku stumbles after. If he believed in such things Katsuki would say it was written in the stars. That some god of war had looked at him and said this one. That he’d been passed along a line to get his blessings – genius, willpower, fearless ambition – and dropped off on earth.
Then, of course, there is the question of Deku. The spitfire runt. Deku, no matter what the world does to him, never stops hoping.
Until, of course, he eventually does.
(Katsuki broke him. Snapped him in half like a twig and now has to scramble to put Deku back together. “We can do this, Deku," he says slowly. "There are so many mysteries that never got put to bed. Criminals roaming around looking to hurt people and you and me, we can fix that.”
There’s a long pause. The comforter slips a little off Deku’s skinny shoulders and drowns him. “You mean like a team?”
In that split second, Katsuki makes a decision he’s never even considered. He swallows his pride. “Yeah, Deku. We’d be a team.”)

Izuku steps inside and shuts the door behind him. Uraraka’s lying on her back in bed, reading a shoujo manga. “I just realised Kacchan’s handsome. He was minding his own business and I tried to touch his lips. Am I a pervert? Am I gay?”
“That’s a little gay, yeah,” Uraraka says, sitting up. Izuku flops into a boneless, dramatic heap on the floor and helps himself to the chips on her low table. “I think it’s normal to notice someone’s attractive, though. Like, Bakugou is good-looking, unfortunately, so I doubt it’s all that weird to think about kissing him a couple times. Do you like him?”
“I,” Izuku says and then pauses. “I don’t know. I’ve never had a crush before.”
“Can you imagine going on a date?”
“Hrkl,” says Izuku.
“Oh dear,” says Uraraka.

Principal Nedzu stirs his tea, which Tenko has left untouched, and takes a sip in the other kid’s direction. “I think this situation could be beneficial to you both. This will be your duty for the month, Mr Midoriya. You’ll have to remind Mr Shigaraki to do his gardening, seeing as he has a habit of ignoring punishments unless physically coerced into staying put.”
The boy squeaks. He’s like a gangly green faun, the kind of stupid terrified NPC you’d meet in the tutorial and automatically hate. “Me? Sir, I, uhm, I don’t think I’m the best person to –”
“Nonsense,” says Nedzu pleasantly. “Mr Shigaraki, you’ll be weeding the herbs for the next four weeks. And if he doesn’t, Mr Midoriya, I’ll hold you personally responsible. I’m sure Mr Shigaraki will co-operate so you won’t have to be unnecessarily punished. Isn’t that right?”
“No,” says Tenko.
“Wonderful!” says Nedzu. “I look forward to seeing how you make the place grow."

Ichigo wakes up handcuffed to his bed, with his husband of barely a year—nine months and thirteen days—holding a knife to his throat.
His first thought is that it’s a sex thing.
His first instinct, strangled before it can take root, is to reach for the nanoreceptors in his bloodstream.
Alarm wars with a dull spark of interest as he struggles to wake up; the fact that he’s struggling, limbs heavy and eyelids hot, is strange and concerning enough that it wakes him up a little more.
The knife presses a little more firmly to his jugular, and the weight on his stomach shifts and settles, hot and heavy on his diaphragm.
Familiar blue eyes, modded to be slitted like a cat’s and glow in the dark, peer down at him. He can’t see the rest of Grimmjow’s face. The room is drenched in darkness.
“I know you like it rough,” Ichigo rasps, tongue just barely cooperating, “but isn’t this a bit too much?”

They’re grinning at one another in the shot, Katsuki reaching out to tug on the earrings he convinced Izuku to get only days before. A matching set.
