Summary
And here they were. Their second week of shore leave. Many of them, when they met in the raucous room of the tavern, speculated that perhaps they may never return to the ocean. Bonnet and Blackbeard had been off alone since they’d made for land; Jim shuddered to think what they might be doing. But that didn’t matter. Nothing mattered, really, not when Oluwande was lying beside them, safe ashore, looking at them like he never wanted to stop.
“What’s on your mind?” He asked, brushing his thumb over Jim’s shoulder, the little crescent-shaped scar there.
“Sea legs,” Jim answered, feeling the smile crawl across their mouth. They couldn’t remember smiling before Oluwande, not since they were a child, playing in the orange grove.

I wrote a cracky little drabble about Stede proposing to Ed. I'm really sorry. You shouldn't read it.

Summary
He threads his way toward the refreshment table, thinking the punch actually does look rather good. There’s someone in front of it, their back turned on the party – someone with familiar gold curls. Edward clears his throat and the man spins round, his cheeks flushing as though he’s been caught doing something untoward.
“Well – hello!” he says a little breathlessly and Ed is grateful for his knee brace, because he thinks he may have buckled otherwise. “I don’t think we’ve met. I’m Stede Bonnet, otherwise known as the groom. How d’you do?”
“I’m Edward – Edward Teach,” he replies, shaking Stede’s outstretched hand. His skin is soft and Ed feels a little self-conscious about his own callused and rough palms, but the greeting is over before he knows it, and he searches for the next thing to say. “Otherwise known as the florist.”
*****
A modern AU based on Imagine Me & You, in which Edward is a florist who does the flowers for Stede's wedding.

Summary
“Could be good for me to practice, you know.” Ed’s voice was conversational. Nonchalant. “We’re working on intramuscular injections now. I’d fucking kill this term if I could practice.”
Izzy shrugged in response, trying to pretend his heart wasn’t racing at the thought.
“Plus it looks like you don’t really love doing it,” Ed pointed out. “Always takes you forever.”
“Fuck off,” Izzy said, blushing.
“Just saying, man.”
*****
Izzy and Ed are college roommates. Edward is in nursing school and offers to help Izzy with his T.

Summary
"Blackbeard's had his turn. Tell me what Ed likes about all of this."
"Some of it's the same," Ed says, reaching past Stede to hook his fingers through the leather garters he wore that first night they went to the arcades. "How it looks, feels. How sometimes it's like a secret handshake or something. Like when you see someone wearing the same band shirt in the street and you think oh shit, yeah, the world is actually pretty small, and people share things. I always liked that."
Just two not-boyfriends trying to figure out what they like.

Stede Bonnet owns a fancy yarn shop in a cosy little seaside town. Life is mostly peaceful, a bit stressful, often lonely—then the empty shop next door is taken over by a leatherworker with kind eyes and a surprising fondness for cashmere, and everything changes.

Summary
If anyone asked, he'd deny it. But the main reason Edward Teach keeps coming back to this particular Mall Santa gig year after year is the annual reappearance of his blonde-haired, hot chocolate-bearing Christmas Angel.
For his part, Stede Bonnet is more than happy to bring drinks and snacks to the man that he's internally been referring to as "Hot Santa" for the last five years, even now that he no longer has the alibi of his children to hide behind.
Too bad that they only ever see each other once a year.
