    “Shane, they are not the Voyageurs. They will not do that to you.” Ilya says, reassuringly grabbing Shane’s hand.

    “I will think about it, okay?” Shane says as he pulls into their driveway.

    “Okay, моя любовь my love.” The two get out of the car and grab their hockey bags from the trunk. Ilya presses a reassuring kiss to the side of Shane's head, and they go inside.

    Shane and Ilya are finally married, teammates, and allowed to love each other openly. But being the first husbands of hockey isn't easy; it comes with pressure neither of them expected.
