To his knowledge, Merlin is the only person in the entire world who has magic (he's Googled it enough, after all), which is good reason to keep it to himself and make sure he doesn’t draw too much attention. So when a strange man named Arthur offers to take him to a world with magic, well, how can Merlin resist? And Camelot is beautiful, right up until Merlin learns a tyrant king is waging a war against magic, and Merlin is supposed be the one to save everyone. Maybe he should have just stayed home.
