Summary
Sophomore Childe meets a stranger at a bus stop and falls in love at first sight – at least that's how he describes it. If only photographing Kaeya meant he could fall out of love with him, and not more so, maybe he wouldn't be so terrified.
Childe holds his face against the crook of Kaeya’s neck. It’s easy to pretend there are ideas such as ‘inspired art’, ‘eternity’, and ‘immortalized beauty’, when he is surrounded by the wood-scented fragrance of Kaeya’s perfume. If this isn’t art, Childe doesn’t think anything is. It’s art when Kaeya takes him a little tighter into his embrace and kisses his forehead and says again, “What am I supposed to do?”

Sara blinked, staring at a beautiful woman who wore a pure white kimono that almost mingled with the snow behind her. Her eyes pierced through her with a gentleness that looked proper and warm, a gratefulness behind them that indicated this woman’s familiarity with her.
The woman was breathless, her hands almost blue from the cold, and Sara had to hold back the urge to pull her inside to shield her from the bitterness outside.
“My name is Kamisato Ayaka,” she said quickly, still breathless. “And I owe you a great debt. Please, take me as your wife.”

Or, Sara nursed an injured heron back to health, and now the most beautiful woman had appeared on her doorstep the next day to repay her debt.

“Are you alright?” Ganyu asked beside her, worry etched into her features.

Most of the shopping list wasn’t so much shopping but random comments and thoughts. He grimaced. “Zhongli, you better figure out the Liyuean in an hour. I don’t want to be buried next to a worm farm.”

Kaeya Alberich, the Cavalry Captain of the Knights of Favonius, was leaning against a wall by the Grandmaster's office, holding a few sheets of (presumed) paperwork.
A signature sly smile decorated his soft lips, his uncovered eye glimmered in dangerous curiosity as it locked onto the blond- no doubt the most interesting thing in the empty hall.
“Kaeya.” Albedo greeted in acknowledgement, his tone level and unbothered as he made his way towards the taller man.

Albedo knew that his worsening shoulder pain was strange, scary, even, but the flutter and ache in his chest whenever he saw a certain Cavalry Captain felt a lot more out of place...

“I am in love.”
The textbook - fucking Chemistry 101, Basics for Beginners - fell to the floor with a heavy thunk and right onto her foot. She swore and slammed her hand onto the table, slapping it repeatedly like she wished she could to Zhongli’s stupid face, and it took a few moments of her abusing the poor table before she finally glanced up and gaped at him.
To her irritation, he was merely staring at her, almost bored, like he was used to her cursing at the top of her lungs after dropping a ten pound book on her foot, and she idly wondered if she could maybe throw the text at his overly large head instead.
To her credit, her voice was calm and level, maybe even sweet as she said, “what the fuck, Zhongli?”

Xiao concludes then and there that the Anemo Archon is an idiot. “I warned you,” he says, utterly unsympathetic.
“That’s true!” Barbatos laughs. He runs a thumb over the bloom, but (thankfully) doesn’t try to eat any more. “I think it’ll grow on me,” he muses, then smiles, as if he’s said something clever.
