Except I may also have rewritten part of the characters and merged some together (like Max is tommy ross and chris)Max/ Grace is minor and Max becomes less of an asshole under Steph's guidance. However this is lesbian!grace so its comphet and she confessed to get out of trouble.

This is something I came up with between sleep and waking. I was just lying there and thought “Lautski BTVS”. I have checked and it’s not an actual thing. There are a few Hatchetfield vampire fics. The ones I’ve read are great.
This isn’t so much a fic as it is a pitch for one. Really, it’s just me having fun with one of my favourite universes. I love Hatchetfield to death, I will be really excited for whatever comes next and whenever that is.
Each season would have about 20 episodes. They’re all a mixture of Big Bad, Villain of the week, Highschool/College situations, Hatchetfield insanity and Romantic Drama/fluff. Each Lord in Black gets to be a Big Bad of their own season.

It might seem like these literal monsters are in too deep to change their ways, but maybe a haunting by three spirits, all ghosts of Hatchetfield residents from other timelines who met their demise thanks to their own evil ways, can fix them. Huge emphasis on the maybe. (This is a very unserious VHSCC AU set during my fic “We’re Gonna Become The Bullies”, using parodies of the songs and written in lyric/script format).

But it doesn't blow up in their faces like it should've, Max doesn't swear vengeance to make their lives more of a living hell than before. He actually seems weirdly intent on hanging around after all is said and done. Maybe it's Richie's bleeding heart that convinces him to put in the effort to get to know him, but with Steph insisting he's not as bad as they've believed him to be what could really go wrong? Ignoring the years of bullying and torment and simmering repressed desires of course.
