Summary
Miguel thinks he can’t be faulted for not realizing immediately what was happening. There is a lot going on in his life. Being a teenager in the Valley while the karate war is going on is time consuming enough. But since his mother got pregnant, it’s been hectic.
Several things happened after the last tournament: first, Moon and Yasmine broke up with Hawk and Demetri with minimal drama; second, they both decided to spend the next few weeks at data camp; and third, Johnny and his mother have decided to move in together.
If not for that last thing, Miguel thinks he might have seen it sooner.
