Det får fan räcka nu, tänker Simon när han ser Wille stressa ihjäl sig under våren. Som att inte universitetsstudier på heltid inom internationella relationer och mänskliga rättigheter är nog så förväntas Wille också representera ett helt jävla land under tiden. Han förväntas få höga betyg, vara engagerad under alla representationsmiddagar och möten som han måste delta vid. Även under tentaperioder eller uppsatsskrivande. Även när han är utmattad eller stressad. Och ibland känns det som det bara är Simon som kan dra i handbromsen.

“Hm?” he could only let out a shaky hum, causing Wilhelm to spread balmy laughter between his kisses, making his mind flutter away more. Oh my god. He would happily be in jail, if wanting Wilhelm all over himself would be a crime.
“You asked me ‘If they hadn’t been here, would you’ve made out with me.’” Wilhelm said, kisses turned firmer as Simon swung in the drunk haze with his eyes closed. Wilhelm stopped a little, trying to search his boyfriend’s state, but he started talking again like he understood that Simon already scummed in the ocean of lust.
“Well, I am willing to give its answer right now.” With that, Simon took a deep breath, because, Oh God. He exactly knew how he could tease him, and he knew it so well.

It was kind of a sudden way to address this — sounding somehow like an accusation that needs to be explained —, and Wille internally scolded himself because he didn't intend to do it like this at all. He wanted to talk about this with Simon for a while now, but not like this.

Aria is sitting on the floor when Simon finds her, but she attempts to stand up, and Simon stops her. “Woah, woah, don’t move.” There are broken pieces everywhere that could hurt her.
“Don’t tell me what to do,” Aria snarls, but she is slurring her words. Great, she is drunk. She is not in her pajamas either. She is trying to sneak back home, and she is completely wasted. Simon’s parenting skills are not much, but he knows how to deal with drunk people. But first, he needs to take care of the broken vase.
“Stay here. I will get a broom and a pair of slippers.”
“You are not my dad. You can’t tell—”
“If you want to stand up and cut your feet, be my guest then.” Simon is slowly losing his temper because she is as stubborn as a mule, even in this condition.
She huffs and mumbles, “Fine,” and stays put. Simon counts it as a victory.

"Oh that's soooo cool!! I wish my hat was shiny too!" Simon gestured to his hat with an exaggered pout. It was working, as the little girl gave a little smile. "Ah but I'm impolite, I didn't introduce myself. I'm Simon, nice to meet you! What's your name, Little Miss Shiny Bow?"
"Elizabet, but my friends call me Lita." She answered, finally stepping from behind the woman.

While working a seasonal job as a Christmas elf at the mall, Simon met a peculiar little girl. What he hadn't expected was how well she got along with his own kid... nor how very nice on the eyes her father was.
Oh, but he was single as well, how convenient was that?

A low whine escaped Simon's lips. That was his luck, first he had to sweep the whole staircase because of the pine needles, and now he had to go back and forth to pick up his lost decorations. He was glad he didn't buy anything made of glass.
He looked up at his neighbor, a scowl on his face, expecting an apology from the man for shoving him like that. Maybe a little help with his predicament?
But the guy just eyed Simon down, rolling his eyes at his expression and walked down the stairs without paying him much attention.
"Oh wow polite much. Bitch." Simon muttered, and scrambled to pick up his bags to at least set them up securely in the corridor.

Moving in another city around his favorite holiday was already making Simon tired. What he hadn't expected was that he literally moved next to the Grinch.
But Simon was good, too good to ignore the sad, sad look in the depth of his eyes.

After the statement and that last day of school, Wilhelm starts to spiral. Having to be the Crown Prince Sweden deserves while finding out who he really is is quickly becoming unbearable for him.

Summary
“How are you doing?” Wille asks as he checks Simon over. He takes Simon’s face between his hands, rubbing over his cheekbones with his thumbs. Simon really doesn’t look good.
It is, however, when Simon doesn’t deny his pain that Wille clocks in how bad the situation is. Instead of shrugging and saying that he is fine, as Wille had expected, Simon simply leans into Wille’s touch, eyes fluttering close, and lets out with a pained sigh, “Not good. It really hurts.”

Simon gets hurt and Wille spends the night to keep him company. Little does he know that he will be the one needing comforting.
