Summary
Tooru feels an intimate connection to the moon.
He wonders if his heart lulls in tune with the tides, a semblant victim to the unwavering control of the beautiful milky crescent hanging in the sky. It steals the attention from all the other stars, look at me, in all my celestial glory. But Tooru knows it's nothing more than overcompensation.
Overcompensation for the dark underbelly cast away in the shadows, for the torment fomenting in the silent abyss. It follows him like an ugly shadow, clinging on like a petulant child – pathetic, unfamiliar, but inextricably him. But no one wants to see that shadow, no one wants to see the reality of his mind, the obscure culmination of his existential fears and his intrinsic self loathing and his uncontrollable actions and the ugliness that he tries so hard to hide.
Because if the moon isn’t shining, then what’s the point of it at all?

Summary
It's almost uncanny how well they slip back into old routine, bodies interlocking like they were never meant to be separated, like Jimin and Taehyung were born to be one. It feels like a relapse in some odd way – craving a substance with such willing and undeniable ferocity.
But if Taehyung is a drug, Jimin thinks he wouldn’t mind getting addicted.

Summary
Jimin jerks awake.
5:20 am.
He blinks at the red numerals of his alarm clock, trying to process what woke him up so early when another spasm rips through his chest.
Fuck.
He scrambles out of bed, stark naked, and almost trips over the mess of clothes on the floor as he dashes into the bathroom. The black drain hole stares back at him as he leans over the sink, a wave of nausea washing over him, just to violently bend over the next second, throwing up all over the white ceramic.
It’s weird.
It doesn’t taste like anything at all.
