“...You like it?” Jisung finishes his sentence, but his head slightly tilted to the side tells Jeongin that he isn't sure and it's more of a surprise than a proper answer.
The prospect of being sincere held a certain allure—a chance of one in a million to just let himself and experience a spontaneous interaction with Jisung. One that belongs to only the both of them, how it always goes. Be it a kiss in the practice room when they're teenagers, snuggling in a single bed in their old dorms, having Jisung direct him in recording, sharing a kiss while trapped in an elevator.
“I do,” Jeongin answers honestly, and feels the heat quickly creeping up his neck and cheeks. He tries to muster any more words, but he is only capable of saying, “I really do.”

Minho lost count of the seconds he spent staring at Seungmin's face, deadpanning. The other seemed to take on the challenge as he stared back, and they held eye contact for a while.
Minho does not like eye contact, but his body doesn't respond in any other way than staring deeply into Seungmin's eyes. He searches for an honest answer, as to why Seungmin treats him so well.

Now, as a kind of mythology, Seungmin shouldn't have believed it easily. But he had seen it among people close to him, his friends, even his parents. Maybe it was a bit hard for him to believe because he himself had never felt it; his soulmate was wandering somewhere, and he hoped they were not suffering as much as he was.
Not only was it ridiculous to fall in love with someone else when he had a soulmate, but when this person also had a soulmate.
