Summary

Hizashi’s hands are shaking because this can’t be real.
“What is this?” he breathes out, scared to reach out and ruin the absolute masterpiece in front of him but he turns pleading eyes on Shouta. “Explain.”
“Happy anniversary,” is all Shouta says, shrugging his shoulders as if the duck figurine in front of Hizashi is a little trinket he picked up at the store on the corner.
“Shouta Aizawa, you will tell me right now what the fuck is going on here,” Hizashi says, more firmly now, because this can’t be.
This statue is expensive in a way not even they could pay just like that and especially not without Hizashi noticing. Shouta did not take that much money from their bank account, there is just no way.

"You, my dear, are one lucky man," Nemuri drawls out and just by the tone of her voice Hizashi knows that he should be blushing but he can't figure out what the hell this is supposed to be about, so he simply frowns at her.
"Huh?"
"Oh, come on, you must have had the best of mornings," Nemuri says, waggling her eyebrows in case Hizashi missed the obvious but it only serves to make him frown more.
"I actually haven't," he simply gives back, and immediately confusion washes over Nemuri's face. "I haven't actually seen him yet, today," he then admits and Nemuri frowns.
"Then why the hell did he seem so quietly content?"
Yeah, Hizashi would like to know as well.

(Bigger details: Civil War ended right after the airport and they all worked together and made up after that, Tony still has the Arc Reactor, Thor and Bruce are on Earth) I would say these are just a bunch of poorly veiled excuses for tropes, but let's be real. It's just a bunch of tropes. :)

Summary
Hitoshi wakes up with a scream, shooting upright in his sweat-soaked bed and his eyes frantically scanning the room.
He screams again when his eyes fall on Aizawa, standing in the middle of the room, his hand outstretched but absolutely motionless otherwise and it only takes a moment for Hitoshi to understand what's going on and then he yanks his quirk back so hard he almost feels sick with it.
Aizawa stumbles slightly before he makes his way over to the bed where Hitoshi is curling up small and pressing his face to his knees in hopes to calm himself down.
"Sorry, sorry," he pants out, unease still prickling at his nape, his nightmare slow to leave him and everything feels like too much for a moment.
Until Aizawa sits down at the edge of his bed and puts a steady hand to his neck.
