    Summary

He scratches his eyebrow. “I mean— okay—“ he starts. “Okay, okay, there’s— there’s a plan here. Right, so what if, what if we do fewer weekends, but we do, like, longer trips? Like maybe we do every other month. But then we do one big trip in the summer or something?”

“International,” she proposes. “Maybe an international trip?” Different enough from The Dream, she hopes.

His eyebrows rise at this. “You know Robin doesn’t have the cash for that,” he tells her. “And, really, Byers?”

“He probably doesn’t either,” she allows, “so maybe we go without them.”

Steve’s eyes lock onto hers. “We go without them?” he repeats calmly.

    Summary

Penny finds herself facing a far less theoretical crisis than the men across the hall ever seem prepared for: money. With the Cheesecake Factory slashing her hours and auditions drying up, survival—not ambition—becomes the priority. Pride bruised but desperation winning, Penny begins searching for work that will keep her apartment, her independence, and her carefully constructed sense of self intact.

Enter Dr. Sheldon Cooper—who, quite by accident and under firm administrative pressure from President Siebert, discovers that his professional life has been deemed insufficiently collaborative. The solution, according to the university, is simple: Sheldon requires a personal assistant. Someone to manage correspondence, scheduling, grant logistics, and the myriad inefficiencies of a world that stubbornly refuses to operate according to logic.

Penny is, by every measurable metric Sheldon values, an appalling choice.

She is untrained, uncredentialed, emotionally expressive, chronically late, and—most concerning of all—inconsistent. And yet, through a series of circumstances neither of them will ever admit was anything less than unavoidable, Penny becomes exactly that: Sheldon Cooper’s assistant.

    Summary

One would think that having the name of one's soulmate appear on one's wrist on one's sixteenth birthday would make matrimony much less complicated. It mostly does not. And not at all for Miss Elizabeth Bennet of Longbourne.

(A deconstruction of the "soulmate identifying mark" trope, using "Pride and Prejudice." Trigger warnings in the tags.)

    Summary

Spurned by the injustices done to him in "The Clifton Manor Incident", the estranged brother of 1732's Santa starts a hunting club for myths, legends, and all manner of magical beings that spans the ages. Finally, hundreds of years later, a Clifton manages to do what no other member could do: capture Santa Claus (and an errant Jack Frost, too).

Finding themselves Legend-napped and, in Jack's case, rendered powerless by two silly little slap bracelets, Santa and Jack endure the terrible decor, dress choices, and scare tactics of a crazy specific CULT as they figure out a way to escape their clutches.

Meanwhile, Jacqueline and Charlie are sent out on official Legate business to find Santa and Jack, free them, and hopefully put a stop to whatever nonsense the so-called "Clifton Society" has caused for magibeans all over the world this time.

    ---

[Sequel to "The Clifton Manor" incident. NOT The Santa Clauses compliant. Part of the chronicles of the Crystal Springs Cinematic Universe, which is a very fun thing to call it especially since it is NOT a movie and/or animated series format 🤭🤭🤭]
