Summary

“I—I can’t,” Jungkook chokes out between his giggles, curling his toes, shoving Jimin back with the heel of his palm. The thought of Jimin suddenly acting all romantic with him is just weird and hilarious. “Jimin—Jimin-hyung, I can’t—I—I can’t take it seriously.”
Jimin shakes his head, patting Jungkook’s thigh a couple of times while trying to contain his own giggles. “I get it,” he says, falling back into Taehyung’s arms. “It was—you couldn’t even pretend to be serious!”
“So Jimin’s definitely not an option,” Taehyung muses, rubbing his chin. Jungkook clutches his aching ribs as he finally catches his breath again, face warm and smile wide. He settles down, leaning his cheek against the back of the couch, curled up into a ball.
“Guys,” Jungkook says after a couple of silent minutes, not much more than their heavy breathing and the faint whir of the washing machine. Both Jimin and Taehyung look at him from the opposite side of the couch. “If we don’t find someone, I think I might die a virgin.”

It was only a couple of weeks into Bora’s first semester of college at the same school as Taehyung when she came to her brother in a frenzy. She was head over heels for a guy she had never spoken a word to. And Taehyung needed to scope the guy out to see if he was deserving of his sister’s time.
When Taehyung found out that the soccer team was having tryouts and that Bora’s crush was on the team, he figured that it wouldn’t hurt to go to tryouts and see how it went. Of course, Taehyung never expected to actually make the team, but it was exciting when he did.
Most people on the team seemed decent, especially Bora’s crush who introduced himself as Jeongguk. Jeongguk was great. He and Taehyung had a lot in common and they had fun spending time together. Even though Taehyung knew Jeongguk was a good guy, something was stopping him from setting him and his sister up. Although Bora persisted, Taehyung was hesitant. He didn’t know why he was so apprehensive until he came to the realization that he was crushing on his sister’s crush. The feelings would never be reciprocated between him and Jeongguk, which would allow Taehyung to get over his crush without hurting his sister, or so he thought.

They’re wearing a mask that covers half their face but Yoongi would recognize those eyes anywhere. He seems equally shocked to see Yoongi and they stare at each other for a long moment, neither saying anything. Slowly, he lowers his mask.
It’s Hoseok who breaks the silence. He tugs at Yoongi’s sleeve to get his attention, still staring at the stranger with wide eyes. “Appa,” he whispers, or whispers as well as a six-year old can. “Appa, it’s Jeon Jeongguk.”
Yoongi is very aware who the person standing in front of him is, and, up until a few seconds ago, he never expected to see him again.
or, Yoongi and Jeongguk were on the path to achieving their dreams together until a tragic accident altered Yoongi’s course and they went their separate ways.
