Henry shrugs. “I was told I can have a glass of wine with dinner.” He finishes his glass and sets it on the table, smiling at Alex with a warm little sparkle in his eyes. “Although it may cause sleepwalking, so you might want to check that the front door is locked.” He reaches up and flicks open the top button of his shirt. “Just in case.”
Alex chuckles, standing up to clear their plates. He presses a kiss to the top of Henry’s head as he passes the man. “Don’t worry, I’ll hold you close all night.”

Henry's always struggled to get past the inevitable road bump of his classification when it comes to finding a partner. In an ideal world, that sort of thing wouldn't matter. Henry Fox hadn't planned on being the first out player in the NHL--in fact he hadn't planned on coming out at all. But when a photo from a night out celebrating causes speculation in the press, he finds that the last thing he wants to do is keep hiding.
When Pez suggests that things may go a bit smoother if he wasn't having to face the scrutiny alone, Henry finds himself agreeing to a fake relationship that starts to feel like anything but a sham.
