Jisung’s stupid heart had even fluttered, once upon a time. Evidently, he had been alone in that want so he let that dream go, resigned himself to this reality.

Summary
How is Jisung even supposed to act? Minho probably has it all figured out. He knew where he was coming, after all. He knew that Jisung would be here. He was able to prepare himself. Jisung was blindsided.
He decides that he’ll do what he’s been doing all this time. Pretend Minho doesn’t exist to the best of his abilities and only interact with him when it’s strictly and professionally necessary.
He wishes they could be friends. He wishes they could go back to where they left off. But it’s been four long years of heartache, and Jisung just—can’t.
Minho doesn’t seem to feel the same way.
(Minho and Jisung signed the divorce papers more than three years ago when Minho packed his life into his suitcases and left—without Jisung. But when he walks through the doors of the Seoul National University Hospital again four years later, they will both be reminded that a signature doesn’t always mean the end.)

He tries to plan how many episodes of any given anime he and Jisung will watch, but gives in pretty easily to Jisung’s pouty face and a plea for “Just one more?”
He never had to plan Jisung. He just seemed to fit right in.

It’s the first time Hyunjin’s ever been featured there post-elementary school, when his macaroni art was just slightly more advanced than the other kids in his class, and the sight of it leaves a bitter taste in his mouth because he did nothing to deserve the spot of honor. Unless the culmination of his life’s success is simply marrying Kim Seungmin.
Hyunjin’s tasked with picking out their engagement rings, a pair of golden Tiffany bands. He sends Seungmin’s to him in the mail. His mom has to text Hyunjin the address. He doesn’t have Seungmin’s number saved in his phone.
