Summary
NBK falls through, and suddenly Dylan has no idea how to talk to Eric anymore — or if he even wants to. He quits replying to Eric’s emails after he moves to Arizona, and eventually Eric stops trying.
Fifteen years later, he unexpectedly runs into Eric on Facebook. Dylan is surprised that he wants to reconnect with Eric; even more so that Eric wants it, too. Their friendship is still there, though, and it doesn’t take long for things to feel normal between them again… mostly. Eric won’t talk about whatever happened to him overseas, and he acts weird every time he happens to be around Dylan’s fiancé, but — well, Dylan knows the former isn’t really his business; and as for the latter… that’s just Eric. Dylan’s sure everything will turn out fine.

Kathy didn’t like her family much. She’d even rushed into marriage so she could ditch her maiden name of Kathy Klebold. It had never made sense to Eric why, when his dad was done in the air force, his mom had said she wanted to move back to Colorado. But whatever; as always, Eric was the only one who gave a shit.
And it was nice, sort of, sometimes. Sue and Tom were good grandparents. It was usually easier to be around them than Eric’s own parents. When he was younger, he’d stay the night at their place most weekends just to get away.
Which was how, eventually, things started with Dylan.

Summary
Two years after the fall of the Triskelion, rumors begin to surface of a Hydra base hidden somewhere in New Orleans. Initially, Steve refuses Bucky's offers of help in taking it down, but soon realizes Bucky is his best option. The only issue is that there is no way any Hydra agent will believe Captain America has defected. They’ll need to get a former top Hydra member who can act as Bucky's handler convincingly enough to get them in the base.
There’s only one man still alive who could pull it off. But there’s no way Steve's going to let Brock Rumlow back in his — or Bucky's — life.

Every single time they fuck, Eric has to force himself to ignore his father's voice in the back of his head telling him he's a faggot, that he's disgusting and morally corrupt, that there's something deeply wrong with him for enjoying this. And to want this, specifically, on top of everything else — Eric doesn't know how to look his own desire in the face, and he doesn't know how to explain it to Dylan without sounding like a fag.
