Summary
As the Second Titanomachy came to a close, the Olympians intervened, preserving the last life the war tried to claim - Luke Castellan lived. They healed him, reversed him, back to that last pivotal moment, before he committed the crimes that started this whole mess. His soul needed longer to heal from his ordeal. But eventually, he awoke, not quite a clean-slate, only a second chance. The few people who still loved him rejoiced. He rejoined the family he'd fractured, integrated into their new clan. The gods knew he could be entrusted to the care of these heroes. And it did seem he learned his lesson, even if he didn't remember doing so.
The only problem? Luke did remember it all. And this time, he understood where he went wrong before. This time, there was no Titan master in his head. He only needed to bide his time long enough for his new plan to work.
He was going to win this time. Because this time, Luke knew the key to victory. All he needed was their precious, golden hero at his side - all he needed was Percy Jackson.

Sebastian thought of Percy Jackson a lot, and he always hoped he would see him again, if only to apologize.
This wasn’t what he pictured though. He was never one to watch the news or even keep up with it. He got all his news from twitter (he’s aware that isn’t great, ok). So it was a big shock when he logged onto twitter Sunday night to find Percy’s face plastered all over his feed along with trending tags like #greekgods, #hellenism, #zeus, etc.
So, apparently the Greek gods were real, and Percy was a demigod. Sebastian was less surprised by the second part than he was the first. Percy certainly seemed pretty godly to him.

Percy looked up from his cards, “it’s short for Perseus.” Mr. D was apparently known for getting all of the campers' names wrong, so Percy thought it was a strange question. Percy also thought Mr. D was a strange man–god, whatever–though so he didn’t say anything about it.
“Why did your mother name you that?”
Percy just shrugged. His mother had never told him why she had named him what she did, and now he would never know.
Mr. D looked at him for what felt like forever. “It’s an unfortunate name.” He finally said. Percy felt like he should have been offended–if only on his mother’s behalf, but there was something in Mr. D’s tone that made Percy not want to question it.
He looked back down at his cards.

Okay, listen. Apollo has read the books, heard the stories, etc, etc. He knows the importance that the Sun Summoner holds for Greece. The one who is supposedly going to destroy the Fold and eventually bring peace to their war-torn, poor country. In every story, the Sun Summoner is painted as a holy, powerful, untouchable and untaintable figure. A fairytale hero or heroine, whoever they are.
The Sun Summoner was decidedly not supposed to be a skinny nobody from a poor village who picked fights with boys twice his size and got (expectedly) beaten up. Or, apparently, that is exactly who the Sun Summoner is, because godsdamn it all, he was the Sun Summoner.
Apollo didn’t think he was well-suited to be some sort of legendary, sainted figure, but apparently, the Fates liked having a laugh every once in a while. He was the butt of the joke this time.
